چکیده
The Conventional Laser Absorption Scattering (C-LAS) technique is used to measure the mixture concentration and visualize vapor phase. former determined by attenuation of visible ultraviolet light whereas latter achieved via absorption scattering theory. C-LAS uses Nd: YAG pulsed laser CCD cameras provide one spray shot at a particular instance which requires time effort. However, temporal measurement single not possible. To record distribution whole phase in an injection event liquid concentrations inside spray, High-Speed (HS-LAS) was developed. HS-LAS consists continuous diode sources, high-speed video cameras, image intensifier for UV light, can variation single-shot spray. In experiment, commercial seven-hole injector with hole diameter 0.123 mm allowing high pressure up 100 MPa avoid potential inconsistencies single-hole test injector. diesel surrogate fuel 97.5% n-tridecane 2.5% volume-based 1-methylnaphthalene used. amount 5.0 mg/hole selected investigate structure formation process findings experiments show that this imaging approach promising diagnostic concurrently obtaining quantitative information on quantity droplets Furthermore, turbulent/vortex fluid dynamics’ development/variation be investigated.

متن کاملApplication of high-speed laser-induced fluorescence technique for studying annular gas-liquid flows
Wavy structure of liquid film in annular gas-liquid flow was studied using high-speed modification of LIF technique. Two-wave structure, consisting of primary waves, generating secondary waves on their back slopes, was shown to exist in regimes with and without entrainment. Three-dimensional structure of waves was also investigated. Existence of transverse instability of primary waves at high l...

We describe a rapid quantitative and qualitative "high-performance" liquid-chromatographic (HPLC) method for measuring porphyrins in urine. Direct injection of acidified, filtered urine onto a 3-micron (particle size) 3-cm-long reversed-phase column fully resolves uroporphyrin, hepta-, hexa-, and pentacarboxylic acid porphyrins, and coproporphyrin. Instrument response is linearly related to con...

Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Tomography (TDLAT) is a non-intrusive measurement technique for determining two-dimensional spatially resolved distributions of temperature and species concentration in high enthalpy flows. TDLAT combines infrared laser absorption spectroscopy with tomographic image reconstruction. Having previously been implemented at the University of Virginia's Aerospace Resear...
متن کاملHigh Speed Delay-Locked Loop for Multiple Clock Phase Generation
In this paper, a high speed delay-locked loop (DLL) architecture ispresented which can be employed in high frequency applications. In order to design the new architecture, a new mixed structure is presented for phase detector (PD) and charge pump (CP) which canbe triggered by double edges of the input signals. In addition, the blind zone is removed due to the elimination of reset signal. Theref...
